01 — Our Story
How Anuvia Came to Be
Anuvia opened in Ipoh in 2011 after two of its founders spent several years helping older relatives locate pension documents that had been misfiled, stored in mismatched folders, or simply never collected from the issuing authority. The experience was the same in each case: the documents existed somewhere, but no one in the household could say exactly where, what condition they were in, or whether the set was complete.
The founding observation was straightforward. Retirement-related paperwork accumulates over decades across multiple issuing bodies — EPF, PERKESO, former employers, government pension departments, private scheme administrators — and households rarely have a method for keeping it together. When a claim or a query arises, the scramble to find documents wastes time and can delay the household's dealings with the relevant authority.
Anuvia's answer was to offer a fixed administrative scope: list what is held, flag what is absent, note where replacements come from, and produce a written record the household can use without asking for further assistance. Nothing more, and nothing less.
Over the following years the office added the Community Information Session series for groups wanting to understand how retirement documents are structured, and the Annual Records Maintenance Programme for households that want their paperwork maintained on a continuing basis rather than audited once.

04 — About the Practice
Administrative Records Work in Perak
Retirement-related documents in Malaysia are issued across multiple authorities and time periods. EPF membership statements, PERKESO contribution histories, pensionable-service letters from government departments, private pension scheme notices, and gratuity correspondence from former employers may all form part of a single household's retirement file — issued years or decades apart, in different formats, and stored wherever space was available at the time.
The consequence is that many households approaching retirement age or managing affairs on behalf of an older family member find their documents in an incomplete or disordered state. The practical cost is delay: time spent searching for a particular letter, uncertainty about whether a required document was ever received, and difficulty presenting a coherent file to the authority handling a query.
Anuvia's three services address this at the administrative level. The Records Audit produces a structured list that any family member can read and use. The Community Information Sessions explain how the document system works so that households can maintain better habits going forward. The Annual Maintenance Programme keeps the file in order year by year without requiring the household to manage the process themselves.
The office does not interpret entitlements, calculate amounts, select products, complete forms, or represent clients before any authority. These tasks belong to the relevant government bodies and qualified advisers, and Anuvia's referral notes make the correct route clear for each out-of-scope question.
